Hi Twisty Puzzles fans,

It looks like a Rubik's Cube and it turns like a Rubik's Cube, but what is it? Of course, it is a Rubik's Cube. HandiCube was suggested by Jens Renders. The regular Rubik's Cube is impractical to solve one-handed, as the solver would need to block two layers to make a slice move (middle-layer "M-turn"). This problem is solved in HandiCube by building the puzzles from a 2x2x2 cube, and having the edges and centers hang between the corners.

Hi all,

These are not really recent models, but I ordered them in metal very recently and... they arrived!

Here are the D6 Shell:

and the D8 Shell:


Both are based on the same principle of having a truncated spheres with the opposite of a face being an edge. As a consequence, the numbers are not printed on the faces. In this way, I can get rid of the flat faces and keep only the rounded surface of the truncated sphere to give to the dice this shell shape.

So the D6 Shell is not based on a cube, and the D8 Shell is not based on a dodecahedron. These make these dice very unique.

And as a bonus, you can also use them as key rings or pendants...

3 Ball Cascade Motion and Mills Mess Motion are "multiple exposure" sculptures, similar to Juggling Club Motion. These show the path through time of two juggling patterns, the 3 ball cascade and Mills mess. These designs were suggested by Colin Wright.

Hi Shapeways fans,

Spherigears combines the ideas of the Sphere Gear puzzle (a mechanical maze puzzle by Oskar) and Bramboules. The combination was suggested by Bram Cohen. Spherigears has four spherical gears that each rotate with three degrees of freedom. The cage can be folded open in two ways, such that the spherical gears mesh in pairs, either AB-CD or AD-BC. After scrambling, the object of the puzzle is to get all spheres back to their original orientation.

Unfortunately, the puzzle does not work too well. The cages flexes open and the spherigears are hard to align. For this reason, the puzzle is not for sale.

Also arrived my character head.



The photo of the character head is little bit too bright, so you can't see the detail very well.



Also is the metal pendant less rough as you may expect from the single shot.

Ok it already arrived a few weeks ago, but for the fact that i'm not seeling this item in my shop, i didn't showed it here yet.

It's an earring inspired from classic SPACE INVADERS Aliens.
Printed in stainless steel. It came out really well!

Each model consists of a pair of polyhedra connected to each other at the center of each of their faces. The connection is not readily apparent, and gives more of an impression that the inner shape is floating.

For now, I tested these 2 miniatures and I know that I have to make some adjustments to the the thickness of some parts, but overall I'm satisfied. But there's still enough time for these modifications, because they'll be shipped to the customers after the campaign ends. Until that time I will make sure that each ship is perfect.

A few days ago i received my own Supernatural Amulet!
It's inspired by the amulet Dean Winchester is wearing in the tv-series.
I created it by myself because as a big fan of Supernatural i was always disappointed that all available amulet replicas out there didn't looked screen accurate enough for me.
It was printed in Antique Bronze Glossy and is 1.4 inches in height. A little bit to small in my opinion so i increased the height to 1.6 inches for the version in my shop.
But it's looking really great. For the ones who think it's a bit to dark i would suggest to order it in Gold Plated Glossy.

Hi Shapeways fans,

Snake Ball is a mechanical maze. The object is to separate the two rings. The complexity from this puzzle is that one ring has a little pin that slides in the grooves of the other ring and vice verse. So you will have to solve two mazes simultaneous. The puzzle also has another surprise. When you are at the point that you think you have finally solved the puzzle, you will discover that you are only halfway.

Snake Ball was originally 3D-printed by George Miller, and sold at his Puzzle Palace website. However, with his shop closed down and demand for this puzzle continuing, the puzzle is now for sale at my Shapeways Shop.

Concentric Cube is a variation to the Nested Cube. It features a frame holding three concentric 2x2x2 Rubik's Cube. The three cubes are bandaged to each other. One bandage goes from layer A to B, one from B to C and one all the way from frame to A, B and C.

Hi Shapeways fans,

Gear Head is a 3D-printed replica of a human head, cut in four slices and connected by a gearing system. The object of the puzzle is to turn the head back in shape. Getting three slices right is easy. The challenge is getting also the last slice right.

This puzzle was prototyped by George Miller on his FDM 3D-printer in 2005. I decided to put it for sale at my Shapeways Shop. It is less expensive than Over The Top.

couple more prints i got

Skul: looks alot more red in real life......think its due to the exposure on the camera.

there is also a miss print on it (at the bottom) not sure why this is....i have checked the model and its fine.
also have to move the circle framing the apple logo.
fits well and very strong

zurclz: (the second image) was inspired by a design i saw im dubai.

I plan to add a little more girth as it has a bit too much flex.
strangely the circle framing the logo is spot on in this one.
the model is in purple....

Spiralling Spirals fractal pendant arrived, in sterling silver polished.

My first prototype had a loop at the top that was thinner, this is a more robust and durable version.

Here there is the first preview piece of the LOGO Man Collection. This is the armband and very soon there will be the ring and probably also a pendant. I will also try this collection in silver or other metal materials.
A simple design but I think elegant and casual at the same time.
