Hi Shapeways fans,

Lucky Seven is a puzzle ring, woven follow Bram Cohen's recipe. This particular ring has a wire-style weave, i.e. using constant-diameter wires. The ring has 180-degrees rotation symmetry. This introduced an additional challenge in identifying the rings, as there are three identical twin rings that are not interchangeable in the puzzle solution.

Watch the YouTube video.
Buy the puzzle at my Shapeways Shop.

Check out the photos below.

Enjoy!

I was pretty impressed with how these earrings turned out. Going off of the design guidelines, I didn't think they would come out this sharp.

Triangle infinity heart pendant. Far too many ideas how to paint it, the strong and flexible plastic feels rather light to actually wear as jewelry but apparently people do, so I certainly would like to paint it.

This is a miniature, not a piece of jewelry, but I had fun painting her and figured I'd include her for a bonus.

Draco Dacian/Roman ensing pendant /keychain

Inspired by the history of Romania. Draco can be seen on Trajan's Column in Rome Italy an international art heritage depicting one of the biggest battle that give the origin of the romanian language.
A symbol of power , sacrifice , without quitting for anything.
Romanians are not about "count dracula" , they are an old european civilization.

Hi Non-Twisty Puzzles fans,

Glenelg is a five-link puzzle ring proposed by Puzzleringmaker Jeff (Vardan) Bell. Each link is a bent piece of cylindrical wire. As the different wires do not make indents into each other, it is very hard to find out which wire goes where.

Watch the YouTube video.

Worried I'd damage the soft tips on my Pencil as it was being transported around in my bag, I designed a simple case in a effort to protect it.

This, the second attempt, has the hinges printed in place and pushes the tolerances beyond the SW recommended minimum clearances - 0.4mm for the moving parts of the hinge.

The clips don't engage perfectly, so I updated the model in a way that should help the snap fit better.

Be sure the check out the demo video, here. Model page here.

Hi Shapeways fans,

Sixth Sense Elasto is a large version of Bram Cohen's Sixth Sense puzzle ring. This model is made of elasto plastic. The use of this flexible material makes the puzzle a bit less frustrating to solve, and one can bend the rings to have them pass around and through each other.

Watch the YouTube video.

My first prints have arrived! I made my Swirly Hearts in 3 depths and had one of each printed; one in steel, one in plastic and one in polished brass . The steel one came out slightly bigger than I thought it'd be :p

I just got this set of barrels in the mail today and was very pleased with the results. They are designed as replacement pieces for the board game Power Grid.

index.php?t=getfile&id=90780&private=0

I have made yellow barrels as well, but since the original game pieces were in red, I decided to try in this color as well. You can see a couple of white specs on the pictures, but they aren't very noticeable in person. I think it is because the picture is so magnified. The listing can be found here: http://shpws.me/DVhU

Hi Shapeways fans,

Minimal 7x7x7 is a minimalistic skeletal 7x7x7 twisty puzzle shaped as sphere. The complete puzzle has 218 individual pieces. Its mechanism is related to Minimal Twist, using a dovetail-style connection to connect adjacent pieces. The sphere flexes a bit because of the play in the dovetail connections needed for the turning of the layers. Once broken in, it turns surprisingly smoothly, although there is not any corner-cutting.

Watch the YouTube video.
Buy the puzzle at my Shapeways Shop.
Read more at the Twisty Puzzles Forum.

Enjoy!

I have finally taken some photos of my HO-scale printing - this is a group of items for a station platform, the designs are Australian (early to mid 20th century) but would look at home on most model railways.

Currently unpainted, but will update when I get them painted.

Note that all of these except the luggage come in sets of 4.

First up, a bench - I am quite proud of this one due to the work involved in getting the design right (and printable) with fine and finicky parts:
index.php?t=getfile&id=89376&private=0
http://shpws.me/CCjA

Now two sets of lights, single and double:

http://shpws.me/Epjq
index.php?t=getfile&id=89377&private=0
http://shpws.me/DfUF

Platform trolleys - these were also a fair bit of work to get the design together but very reward and I am really pleased with how these look:
index.php?t=getfile&id=89381&private=0
http://shpws.me/Diid

Finally, the luggage set which was based on some old luggage I found on an auction site (Louis Vuitton etc)

I welcome any feedback on the designs, photos or anything else. I am also very open to suggestions as to what people would like to see modelled for their railways!

Hi Shapeways fans,

Planets Diamond is a flat version of the Planets puzzle, produced by Recent Toys. The goal of Planets Diamond is the same as for Planets, namely turn the balls and scramble the puzzle, and then try to solve it. This puzzle uses four spheres of the original Planets puzzle. Each sphere has six "craters" that match with adjacent spheres. A ball can rotate in one ore more directs when it is not blocked by adjacent balls.

Watch the YouTube video.
Buy the puzzle at my Shapeways Shop.
Read more at the Twisty Puzzles Forum.
Check out the photos below.

Enjoy!

Hi Shapeways fans,

Tube Maze is a mechanical maze. The object is to move the ring around the knotted beams and remove it. Both the flag and the ring are asymmetrical. In the start position, the rings hangs under the flag, but it cannot come off. When the ring makes the right trajectory through the maze, it is turned upside down.Only then, the ring can come off from the flag.

Tube Maze is my very first 3D-printed puzzle. The original prototype was printed by George Miller on his Dimension machine in 2003, see here.

Watch the YouTube video.
Buy the puzzle at my Shapeways Shop.
Read more at the Non-Twisty Puzzles Forum.

Enjoy!

I am very excited that my first two pairs of cufflinks have arrived.

The first is based on a motif of the city of Milan and involved quite a bit of fiddling around with the design, particularly to get the finer areas acceptable to print. I am quite happy with the design, but might also do a larger, bolder version.

Check it out in my store here:

The second is a compass design, as below. I am really happy with how this turned out - I am actually wearing them today!

Check it out in my store here:

The only thing I will update on other cufflinks is to make the 'stalk' and the 'stopper' bit a little larger. That said, they work really well and look great.

EmojiMemes are here! What do you think? All the models are in Beta now to get feedback from the community as we develop our app. Right now, I'm producing each order individually, but this is temporary. When our app is complete it will allow you to easily create your own emojimeme by: 1. Choosing an emoji for one side of the emojimeme 2. Uploading your photo for the other side 3. Extruding the facial features on your photo to make your very own 3D printed caricature!
