@GlenG - Thanks for the tip.

I looked into the two-part resin and it looks like the way to go, but I also found liquid enamel paint; comes in little vials like the ones pictured below.

Is that something else that would work? I'm not looking to fill a lot of space and was wondering if I primer the areas and applied the paint thick enough (was thinking with an eye-dropper) will it hold or would it fall out/chip eventually?

The bulk FUD material seem quite transparent.
I guess the optical properties of an object made with FUD lie in the surface roughness.
Anyone tried FUD coated with a glossy varnish ? That should increase the perceived object transparency.
