Hey all,
I think I'm missing something. The materials page lists the various prices in cm/3, but ceramics are listed in cm/2 - How can you measure volume in cm/2? Does it not go by volume? Is it the size of the base? I'm a tad confused here. Would appreciate any insight.

Ah, I think I've just answered my own question - surface area, of course. My math, she is, how you say, not so good. That definitely requires a different approach than printing in other materials.

Yep you're right - it's the surface area that counts. The reason behind this is that for ceramics, the main cost driver is the time it takes to glaze the object. The larger and/or more complex the object, the longer it takes. Also, small objects with very complex structures are more difficult to glaze (wheres 3D printers usually don't care about that kind of complexity).
