I'm making a couple parts for my airsoft stuff, and I need 2 sets of female threads (Like a Nut) that I can use to incorporate into my model. I'm not that experienced at modeling, and I'm using Google Sketch-up (Free).
What I need is a female thread, size 14mm x 1.0 CCW.
And one in CW.
Needs to be 20mm long.
So, basically just a threaded tube (threads on the inside) but they have to be 14 mm x 1.0 thread size, and the outside diameter of the tube anywhere between 18 - 20 mm. (O.D. size not critical)
And I would need to be able to import it into Google Sketch-up.
My import options are:
.skp
.3ds
.dem
.ddf
.kms
.dae
Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Is this the profile what you want? This is with a .1mm tolerance.

Yup, that's it.
I think I can do it using the video that Matthijs posted.

Thanks for the help everybody. I was able to do it with the plugin and video linked earlier.
That plugin/process doesn't create a perfect thread, but it's close enough for plastic.
