No, we, at Shapeways, use Magics

Hi Ralph,
I saw you fixed some files with magics.
Could you also fixe the dragonnecklace?
How did you fix the tank without destroying it?
Could you show the method with some screenprints?
Greetings AO

Hi
I'm still having problems working out normals in Rhino and i was wondering if it was possible for you to have a look at these files for me as well?
Any further help would be much appreciated
Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott,
not sure, but you're probably using the wrong mesh settings out of rhino. I just downloaded your lens2 and lens3 models,
They both contain open meshes which is not good for 3D printing
If you send the rhino model, I can see if it is a problem with the mesh settings or with the model itself, it could well be a combination of both. I guess that's the case, because lens2 had interfering mesh faces as well.

Gijs
