I have noticed that when I upload a model, there is a mark saying "...originally uploaded on (e.g. 23 Mar 2012) ". I think it would be great if this date mark is shown publicly. In case someone claim that he came up with this design first, the date mark can be a good proof of who is first.

Actually.. it'd only be the LAST UPLOAD date that would be valid.
If the site showed only the original upload date, I could upload a simple cube, let it sit in my shop for a year, then copy someone else's design and replace the cube .. and claim that I had "prior art" based upon the earlier date. The Last Upload date is the only date that you can trust as being applicable for the current design in the shop.

The 'Last Updated' date used to be public, but I forget when it was removed - maybe add your request to the Feedback Site.
