I live in the uk and as I understand the import duty threshold is £18, does anyone know if this is before or after tax of the value of my product as the amount you pay on shapeways includes tax. I am asking because the price of my product incl vat is about $30 just over £18 but excluding vat it is under this threshold, which value do I look at when ordering from shapeways?

Import duty for an order from an other EU country ?

They built their new HQ in New York, and at the moment they're building up another production facility somewhere over there...
But UK customers should receive their orders from the production facility in Eindhoven (Netherlands).

You just pay Netherlands VAT, which is the same as ours at 20%, added to the order+shipping cost (shipping is one fee per order regarldess of the number of models or weight)
