Hi - I am an enamelist looking for a way to create items for enameling. The engraved areas would be filled with glass and fired.
I have a few questions:
Can Shapeways cast in pure (.999) silver or in Argentium silver, or just in SS (.925) ?
Can Shapeways cast or print in copper?
Can I get the design printed in wax for me to cast myself?
On wall heights, I can understand not having a thin wall with a very deep incising adjacent to it, making it tall and thin, but can I use a design that has a wall with a bed next to it at 1:1 then steps down deeper further from the wall?

I can answer the metal questions for you. Right now Shapeways only offers Sterling. They are looking into other materials, and the was that they use is too fragile to ship.The Mad Moder
