I've gotten really good at making sure my uploads pass the initial Shapeways tests, but now that I am using FCS, there is the extra issue of color, and small defects sometimes show up when I look at my uploaded model using the Shapeways 2D and 3D viewers. The 3D viewer only works sporadically, no more than half time, under both Mint Linux and Windows Vista using both Chrome and Firefox (sometimes I get "applet not started").

If I could run the Shapeways 2D and 3D viewers at home, I could speed up the fix/upload/view/repeat process for my models. Are these viewers available in the public domain or could they be made so? Thanks...Jeff
