I am getting ready to order my first model and I'm considering getting it dyed instead of just white. I noticed the 10 day lead time and I just wanted to clarify, does that mean 10 extra days on top of the normal processing / shipping time? I know there is labor involved so I was just curious.

Also I wondered if you can get it polished and dyed as well.

Right now WSF and it's dyed varieties are at 10 business days. That means after you order 10 business later it should be on your door step. Check here for the latest on any delays http://www.shapeways.com/materials/material-status
