Hi all,
ive got a design in my mind, it however requires me to 3d print a socket for an E27 lamp.
Does anyone have a model or dimensions for E27 socket and or lamp?

There's some info on the Edison Screw wikipedia page, and here's a couple of codes that might help in your search - IEC 7004-21, DIN 49620... the thread on the E27 bulb is 27mm diameter with 7 threads per inch.

thanks a lot man very helpful page i can properly place my bulb now 
this is the concept of my idea:
i want to make a rotating display for a specific LED light released by a well known company
the lamp will when design is finished be covered by transparant 'breeding case' with screws for safety.
