Hi Jules,
I am not sure I understand correctly, but you uploaded the model as an STL with the "mm" unit selected for the first?
And used a different scale for the second?
If you use STL files for upload, the selection box decides what the native STL unit will be for real.
So if you model is 25.4 units long and you select mm on upload it will be 25.4 mm = 2.54 cm = 1inch.
Sometimes matters become more complicated when the used 3d software uses an own internal unit and converts things on save.
Can you give some more info?
Love your (power) Julia bulbs!
Tried those myself, but never had much luck in generating affordable and printed pieces from it.
Cheers,
Stijn

Your interpretation is correct, but that was not the question.
I want to know what is the meeasure of the origal stl file and how I have to resize it to level that the printed output is 1 inch ^3

Dag Stijn,

Dank.
De factor moet zijn: 2,54/0.3 ~ 8.5
Ik ga het proberen.

for the reference of those (unfortunate) English only speakers, gentlemen.
Could you please inform us as to how this issue was resolved?
Thank you very much!

In short, Jules was asking how to variably resize the model on upload.
But that is not yet possible on the site, so has to be done pre-upload.
I recommended Meshlab for this.
As I also did in this English thread here :
