playing around with two material working together. the rock shape is black nylon. the spike is stainless steel. hollow rock allows you to keep little things inside!

i designed a lip detail on the spike and a detail on the nylon. because the nylon is a bit more flexible and the tolerances are tight, the gold spike pops on and holds its place within a little cavity to accept the raised area of the spike!
