Does anyone know a way how to show non-manifold meshes in Cinema 4D?

Yes, you can in C4D:

To check for non-manifold edges, you will need Release 11 of C4D and the advanced render module. Under the render menu/cineman/select non-mani-fold edges.

To find naked edges, in Release 11 of C4D use selection/phong break selection.
