  1. Hello everyone,

I am very knew to the whole 3d modeling/ modeling in general I have some ideas on what I want to do but yet to have the means. I am looking forward to learning as much as I can.

I am a falconer so I use a lot of leather, I looked up do it yourself leather stamps and one of the top search results was 3d printed stamps. So i did a bit of research and have decided to use shapeways.

    Hey kongkids16,

welcome to the Shapeways community, happy to have you aboard.

A falconer? Like big birds land on your hand? That sounds really cool, I can't wait to see what you make.

It's been many years since I did leather stamping in the scouts. You'll probably want stainless as your material. As you're very new, I'd look at our 2D to 3D app. Here you can upload an image to be used to make a 3D model. It uses grey scale also, so you can use gradients to taper a design.
