Hello,

I was asked to make a tutorial on how to make a rounded die.
Finally I did it, in three parts, for a simple rounded D6 and for 3DS Max (I am not enough familiar with the plugins of Sketchup).
- Part 1/3: Creating the shape
- Part 2/3: Hollowing
- Part 3/3: Adding pips or numbers

There is no sound (so no French accent Very Happy ) but instead there are subtitles.

You can see the results via this custom die or this complete set of dices (with a discount).

Actually I did not exactly follow my tutorial (the sphere is smaller and with more polygons and the pips are abigger), but the tutorial should allow you to understand the process.

Let me know what you think.
