designing watch dial

  1. Hi, new to this and working on an old mac book so cant run any software apart from the online stuff, I used Tinkercad to design a watch dial, only issue is the thinnest it will make something is 1mm, i need .35 for the main part then .2 higher on the raised bits, just wondering if anybody has any ideas or would be able to help out? thanks in advance!!

    Is your grid locked and snapping to 1mm? You should be able to draw at an arbitrary thickness. Check the grid settings in the lower right corner of the editing window.

    Also in general such a problem can be circumvented by designing at a larger scale and then scaling the design down to the appropriate size using the scaling tool in the model editor after you upload it to Shapeways.
