hey guys i just uploaded my 1st model and its scale stated on the site is
Height 0.4 cm
Width 0.5 cm
Depth 0.6 cm
but in 3ds max its meant to be
H: 14.4cm
W: 13.8cm
D: 9.3cm
i exported as .STL and it did not give me the option of selection scale or anything like the 3ds max tut did..
any ideas?
im gonna try uploading as another format but if any one has an idea bout whats going on that would be great.

Make sure your units in max aren't set to anything weird.
And either rescale in max beforehand, or you can rescale the stl in netfabb.

if u have another read of what i said, that is the scale of my character in max.
and i did scale with xform on.
i also have tried 2 upload the same thing in 2 different formats as a separate model and have not had them come up. and its been a good 7 hrs
one was a .dae and the other was a vrml97.

have you checked that your units are not on generic?

change it to meters, check your model, you will see that it doesn't have to correct size anymore,, but the size that shapeways also says
