would it be possible to have the system analyze and auto set what materials can be used(i.e. if walls are to thin remove steel as option).

also can a big warning message pop up if there is an inner chamber with no hole in it. the system auto adds the hole chamber volume so i can check against my software volume but i dont always notice right away.

I work here
Part B I agree with completely.

Part A would be extremely difficult. If the software picks up a detail that is thin it would have to judge whether it was a detail or not. Also to auto find thicknesses would be excruciating code in itself I would imagine.

Perhaps we could have a little dropdownbox for the wall thickness that we can manually specify, so the materials are automatically filtered according to the specs we give?

what about if it just did its best and then gave suggestions of which materials may not work and possibly pictures of where it thinks there may be an issue.

Computing the distance between 2 parallel planes is not difficult. Where walls are thin odds are they are running parallel to each other. If they are not parallel then my guess is they are probably a detail. Can't say for sure but anything is better then nothing.
