I needed a work-around to getting bigger images on round surfaces since you can't make the image box go past the model.

    The result with normal limitation:

And the result after addid a flat plate to the bottom connected by long sprues. The idea is the sprues could be cut to get the original model with larger customization:

But there's a couple of problems. Number one this method is confusing the tool and shifting the image. The shifting tool slider bar ajustment is waaaaaaayyyyyyyy too course to get the image centered.

The second problem is garbage being added to the bottom surfaces of the model. Not a big problem since it could be sanded off but much better were it not to happen. You can also get a nice draping effect using this technique on this model. It probably helps that the sides are sloped. Another option would be to try the same thing with the plate attached to the bottom without the sprues but that would require more cutting and sanding to remove it.

And a third issue is that adding the plate to get the work-around adds a lot of cost to the model. Can the tool be updated to help with these things?
