Here is a new dice with 2 different versions. It is a large hollow die that threads together so you can place another die inside it. The inner die will have to be 0.5" or smaller to effectively roll around inside. First version has standard numbering the second number is 0 to 5 to allow for a D60 if you place a D10 inside.

Great minds, eh?

http://www.shapeways.com/openfile/274846/274846.v0.s20.convert.large.jpg

I do like the way you kept with the triangles for all of them, though. Its much more consistent than how I did mine.

Why does the D12 have a different font from the others?

For those that like metal here it is. Won't rattle around like the non-fused version but will look just as cool.

Hey all,

I did a little dice experiment myself, perhaps not for dice snobs but for the micro second attention span of the Tumblr mind.

The dice basically has the 6 most used icons on Tumblr and I posted it with the premise that you can let the dice decide what to do on Tumblr.

Turns out it is quite popular and has been reblogged, liked, commented on over a thousand times in a few days.

I wonder what other online groups would get into similar concepts. Check out Tumblr, sign up and show your own designs, you may be surprised what becomes really popular, but beware, it can be VERY addictive..

Nice design.

What would you call a 36 sided shape. all faces pentagonal. As a die it always falls face up.

Dizingof I think you can tag your Honeycomb Die20 as Obfuscation as the numbers can only be clearly read when looking head on.

Oh and have you caught up with me on Dice designs? I notice you say you have the most in your shop. Thought I was still 100 up on you.

I did not mean that as an insult. Several of us have designed dice which we call Obusfication because they are purposefully designed to have a trick to read.

As for my price. Yes I may set my markup really low to try to keep the cost down below $10 does not make it any less art.

I designed 4 dice. 2 each with side counts of 22, and 28. Like th other 500 shapes I have computed and am slowly working on(all even numbers from 2 to 1000) they always land with a face up. the truncated sphere version is a little more fair and is the one you should pick if fairness is really important.
