Hi
Most of the models I produce encounter an error of having nonmanifold faces.
1. Can I prevent if from happening (I use 3DMAX)?
2. I understand Meshlab can help, but I didn't find how to do it in Meshlabs
Thanks

Could you elaborate a bit on your modeling methods?
Do you use booleans or just simple overlapping objects?
In max you can try to weld very close vertices.
And be sure to use the STL check modifier to locate mesh errors.
Slap an edit poly modifier on top and the errors are preselected.
In meshlab: patiently search the extensive filter menu for things like : weld close vertices, remove non-manifold faces etc.
Cheers,
