Very nice. I love the Steampunk D20 and the lightweight "another" die (for some reason it looks to me like it's made out of cufflinks!).

I have a few more dice coming and I might... Just might... Be in trouble with the little woman and have to cut back for a while.

I might also have purchased one of your wands in glossy bronze. I would have posted pics, but I couldn't get a good photo yet.

It's great to see my designs in someone else's collection! Did you get them in bronze or is that just how the picture turned out? In any case, you're much better at representing them photographically than I am.
Thanks for the order!

I figure if I'm a good boy, I can sneak another order out after my Lulu.com revenues come in around the 17th.

Proposed Mathematical Proof - If (Paypal out) is equal to or less than (Paypal in), no harm no fowl! Rolling Eyes

As for the bronze question, no they are all SS. Wish the gears didn't fuse in processing, but they are still cool dice! Wow did the d20 ever catch the polishing matrix they use. Spent a whole bunch of time cleaning that sucker last night.

Yeah sorry, couldn't resist Wink

Oh crap, it said "here", I meant "her"
(that made it sound a lot sadder Wink)

Anyway, during my first orders, it helped my budget negotiations a lot if I got my wife something every once in a while Wink

Yea, the D6 tests that I got had a lot of the polishing medium stuck in the crevices. I'm anxious to get some tests done in the Bronze Matte finish because I think it might hold more detail and bronze fits the steampunk motif better. I also want to deepen the bevel on the gears so that they look less fused.

20-sided die with leaves

this pendant in transparent
Dragon pendant v1

and I'm thinking of getting her these for xmas.
Wing Earrings - Stainless Steel

Truth is, I did overspend, but I had a 20% off coupon. It was a BARGIN!

Let me know if you do. I'll probably get another one!

Ooh, that looks really cool! I always think silver/steel models look so much better with a bit of black patina in the crevices; it really enhances the detail.
What did you use?

Blacken-it.

It is a hit or miss solution. Sometimes it works great, like it did on these two and other times is doesn't do squat.

I love how the antiquing looks!
Would it be possible for SW to offer that as a finishing option?

I doubt it, but Blacken-it is only $8-$9 a bottle. I find it locally at a railroad craft and hobby store.

That, and a bottle of even cheap acrylic will do the job just as well, since it doesn't even need to survive rubbing. A coat or two of paint, followed by a wipe to clean off the excess and a coat or two of sealant would work very nicely (as you've demonstrated nicely on the later dice). Smile
