Can anyone tell me if it is possible to 3d print the attached part and use it as an electrode. This part would heat up in the production process and I am afraid that the binders may cause the part to fail. Thanks
Shapeways' brass is conventionally cast in a lost-wax process, the 3d printed part is the wax master. So thermal stability should not be a problem, but dimensional accuracy probably will - you can find the relevant figures on the materials page. Producing this will probably cost upwards of $400
Quick check with given dimensions & raw brass = ~ $160 https://www.shapeways.com/model/3dtools/3875528/0/84?key=aee ad203644a4a13b31a935ca040ab95 .
