Brass material printing

    Can anyone tell me if it is possible to 3d print the attached part and use it as an electrode.
    This part would heat up in the production process and I am afraid that the binders may cause the part to fail.

    Shapeways' brass is conventionally cast in a lost-wax process, the 3d printed part is the wax master. So thermal stability should not be a problem, but dimensional accuracy probably will - you can find the relevant figures on the materials page. Producing this will probably cost upwards of $400

    Thanks for that, I thought the $400 estimate sounded a bit steep.
