Why is Elasto Plastic still a Maker material?

Seems like 2 years passed since its first presentation.
What is needed yet to make it final selling to public?

Hey there! Great question. Elasto Plastic is a Maker material - not a pilot material. The difference between the two is that a pilot material is something that we are testing out before launching to the public/for sale, but a maker material is exclusive to Makers only. The reason we do this for elasto plastic is because the quality of the material is not up to product standards that typical consumers would expect in an elastomer, however we do see the value in offering this material for your own models and prototypes.

    Hope this answers your question!

    Yes, question answered, thank you!
It's a pity though... I guess I'll have to set up my own shop to sell these gummy things, and link it into the main object here... I only need to print small bumpers for rc models with that material.
