    Hey all,

I am trying to import an OBJ from Skulptris into Sketchup.
I am a cheapskate and don't want to purchase the pro sketchup or the SimLabs extensions.
    Anyone familiar with a workaround?

Meshlab will import obj files and export them into dae or stl files.

Sketchup.can import both of these files.

  3. There is also a Sketchup plugin to import OBJ directly found here.

I think I might try sketchucation, especially since MeshLab's website seems to be down for whatever reason.
Can I not download sketchucation through the extensions warehouse?

  5. No, Sketchucation is similar to the Extension warehouse, but much larger. The Extension warehouse is much newer than Sketchucation, and as a result has fewer plugins.
