hi, I was working on a miniature external hard drive. I had them modeled in Autodesk Inventor. I was hoping to have it exported into vrml for colour printing. Can anyone points out how to do this? Or if there is anyone who could make them in colour format using my autodesk Inventor format?

I tried using 3DS Max to export to VRML but not only did I doesnt manage to convert the colour, some of the geometry is missing from my model once i upload it into Shapeways.
Other option is to export all parts in .stl and color them in Blender 3D (uv map etc )and export from blender then the result. That makes it a tedious process. Maybe someone with Inventor can have another try ?!
