I went to make cupcakes last night. But I didn't have any eggs :'( So instead I melted some chocolate, and made a chocolate cup. So if you're wondering if porcelain can be frozen with molten chocolate in it, the answer is yes. Hopefully I get eggs soon to test it in the oven.
So, will shapeways be offering "cake" as a new material, based on a highly efficient double molding process ? All the old arguments about chocolate beeing too temperature sensitive, or icing being to fragile for shipping surely would not count .
Seeing the handle almost completely melted in the time to take the picture of me holding it, I don't think it'll ship well But at least it survived the molding process :'(
