    Greeting

My name is Ignacio, but I go by the nick N647, on deviantart, but lately I been getting into 3D modeling, and got interested in 3D printing for hobbies, trough DA I got contacted about doing a 3D model of a character from a light novel, the writhe wanted a figurine of it so, I decided to take on the test, and put to practice what I learnt so far, overall the result is not that bad, and well, we needed to print it so that´s how I found shape-ways, so far I really like it, and hope to practice and upload some nice stuff in the future :D

So far I been working with blender and a bit with sculptrist, well I m still fairly new to all this so would be happy to hear comments and tips to improve my skills ^^

here is al ink to my DA gallery: https://n647.deviantart.com/

And to sketchfab where I uploaded the figurine model, let see if this works: https://skfb.ly/AMR6

    best regards ^^

Still don't know how to put signatures, also, hmm why are the other materials render not showing in the models I uploaded? I only see the default grey render? :S

    Hi, Ignacio.

    I'm Luis, from Madrid, Spain.

I opened a thread for spanish - spanish speakers shapies

    https://www.shapeways.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=18714 &start=0&

You can introduce here too, If you like.

I'm a Sculptris fan too. It's very funny to modelling with it. I'm discovering Meshmixer now, It has more interesting tools good to finish your figures (as an example, to hollow or cut them).

Other material renders are a new thing that has to be implemented in the next weeks. Patience.

    Best regards

    Luis

thanks, already posted in the thread you suggested, and meshmixer looks liek a great tool definitively I must look into it, since it looks like it provides some great tolls, hollowing models in blender was not very nice XD
also may be good to creating base meshes to later sculpt more detail in sculptrist

also thanks for looking into the render thing
