Hey guys, I'm working on a 3D scanner for color full body scans and I was wondering if anyone here has experience or advice on what works best. The 2 designs I'm thinking about are a kinect based solution that has multiple Microsoft kinects attached to an arm that pivots around the scanning platform, and a photogrammetry solution that uses 20-40 cameras fixed in a ring around the subject. Which do you think would work best for scanning at a live event? Any particular pitfalls I would watch out for? Thanks!
With welcome. Here from their site ,they are in UK it can be visible how many photo cameras are used A good clue to develop some.
Use Occipital software here http://skanect.occipital.com/download/ it supports Kinetic Sensor for Windows and some custom hardware.
