If photographs can be used to create a 3d print model for building parts... how many photograph angles must be used to create the 3d print model?

Using the free cloud-based program 123D Catch, I have made decent 3D models by using approximately 70-80 photographs taken from three different angles around the subject. The digital model that comes out of 123D Catch must be edited with another program like MeshLab before it can be used for 3D printing. Hope this helps.
