4 nested toroidal dodecahedrons

index.php?t=getfile&id=2038&private=0

Everyone who's handled it has wanted to keep it.

3 of the layers stuck to each other; I guess my clearances were too small, but they weren't stuck seriously, and I was easily able to "worry" them free. Now all 4 layers can be moved independently.

I've ordered another 8, to give away for Christmas.

It's printed in WSF.
I have demonstrated the strength of the material to people by dropping it to the floor from full reach; it bounces!

Really cool! I'm a fan of dodecahedrons. Also dodecadodecahedrons.

and now, eight times the madness.

Some of the vertices stay filed with the nylon powder; I use a toothpick to free it, then give the things a good blast with compressed air.

20 vertices per dodecahedron, 4 layers per piece, 8 pieces ... 640 vertices to clean out ...
