Wax Prototypes

    I noticed that you are doing a trail run on offering brass 3D reproductions and you mention that in one step you make a highly detailed wax print.
    I am wondering if the detail on the wax is better than the FUD material or the same or less.
    If it is better than FUD will you ever offer wax prototypes and if so what would be the cost for those?

    See this recent thread - shapeways' concern is that wax does not survive shipping.

    Are you saying you could do a lost material casting with FUD?

    No.
    I don't do lost material casting. I just make molds from the prototypes.
