Textures not correctly being uploaded

I am using blender 2.68a on a linux box to create a nice little pendant with some engraving. Been following a youtube tutorial on how to added engraving using UV mapping and a simple jpg file. Everything renders correctly in blender and looks pretty cool.

My first attempt was uploading a zip file containing both the text.jpg file with the exported file type .x3d. I get a nice 'Victory' e-mail but when I take a look on the shapeways, the whole model is completely white and blank. (see attachment)

Second attempt was to edit the .x3d (just an XML) and took out all path information to the jpg file and still no luck when uploading....

Probably something on my end but I have no idea what is wrong! Any idea would be great!

    Thanks

Try viewing your x3d with view3dscene - it may have both a texture AND vertex colors that obscure it.

    Thanks for the tip.
My issue is that I had too many light sources and it overwhelmed the textures I had.

It was properly rendering just that the generated image was messed up.
