Here's a booklet with 36 challenges for the Tile Swap Puzzle that is available in my shop. Included below are four challenges from this booklet. An easy challenge. Swapping Tile 2 and 5 can be done in five moves. The basic challenge. Change the order of all tiles (without changing the orientation of the puzzle). It requires 30 moves. The hardest challenge. It requires 38 moves A deceptively difficult challenge. Only two tiles need to change position. That should not take more than a couple of moves, right? Wrong. It cannot be done in less than 31 moves.
