It's actually been about a week or so since these models showed up, but only now have I had the time to finish post-processing and put up some of the photos I've taken of these little guys.

    Dinosaur 2 v0:

    And The Heartbreak Kid

I don't have many words to say on the topic of these images,
but I can say that I'm just about as pleased as I can be with the models themselves. :)
I can't wait until I have a little more spare cash to use on fun creative projects like this!

The source models for these figurines are on display at my 3D models page.

This is my second set of models printed at Shapeways.
    What does everybody think?

I hope that people don't mind too much, but I plan on making this a rather photo-rich post. ;)

I like 'em! simple models that still have real character :D

Also the photography is fantastic, some of the best examples of exactly how WSF looks when you get it :)

So, seeing as how And The Heartbreak Kid was as model I created based of of my friend Dmitri's character sketch, I decided to give him a model of the toy for his birthday. He had not idea that I was even getting him a present, so it was quite a surprise to him that I had gone as far as to have a model of this made for him.

I realize now that I should have advised him to sand the model with a fine sandpaper just a bit before sealing it, painting it and then sealing it again... but it still came out looking pretty decent. Does anyone have any suggestions on what grade of sandpaper to use on the WSF material models for a very smooth, perfectly finished look?

Credit goes to Dmitri Carapezza for the paint job on the Kid.

@ omcdesign: Thanks, that reaction had been my objective. :)

@ Inlite: I'm glad you have enjoyed these so far! It took some time and effort to make these photos happen, but it was worth it. I did want the community to be able to see and enjoy these models through some decent quality images.

Alright, I think I'm done posting photos from this set for now.
I'll put some more up if I can get Dmitri to paint my Dinosaur for me. :)
