Hello, I'm trying to prototype a suction cup and was wondering if anyone knew if the Elato material would work in that type of application. It's described as Porus, so there's some concern around how well it would stick given that characteristic. thoughts?
It should hold to any smooth surface... as long as you're holding it there. :laughing: I'd suggest postprocessing with some kind of nonpermeable coating - liquid latex, perhaps? Cross-post to the Post Production Techniques forum. There's many a wise shapie over there.
so how did it go? any update? I am also wondering if this material will work for some suction cup components in a design.
