I've been looking through the forums and can't find this problem addressed.

I am building in Lightwave, exporting Collada, saving an STL in Meshlab, and my object keeps coming up much smaller on Shapeways (and it says it was scaled when uploaded).

Ideas?

Thanks for any help.

Mark

I work here
Can you share the file? What size is it supposed to be/what size is it coming up as? Can you also make the item public and share the link so we can see?

I took it into netfabb and scaled it by 1000 and it appears to be the proper size now. I had seen somewhere else that perhaps Lightwave needed to be scaled up by 1000, but it didn't work scaling it up by 1000 in the program itself.

Thanks for your help. I'll see if this works as a workflow workaround.

Make sure when you export and import you keep the same conversion. for example export in meters and upload as meters.
i had the same issue when i started out
