I have a doubt.

I suppose someone else has already argued on this.

Is the adapter ring ( http://www.shapeways.com/model/473828/adapter-ring-for-starf ish-lamp-20mm-height-e27.html) compliant to the current US and CE market standards relate to electrical parts?

Because of the adapter ring will be touched by the lamp bulb that will be hot ....how do we have to manage this in order to gurantee the market standard compliance of the final object?

Thanks to all in advance

Contact the designer if you need some statement of conformance.
That said, the "white strong & flexible" material is Nylon, which is not
unusual for lamp sockets and from the materials data sheet should be
good to about 160 degrees C
