Can anyone clarify the calculations on the website for the white strong flexible material wall thickness minimums for larger objects to prevent distortions?
Does this calculation hold true only to a solid stretch of material or to lattice style design as well?

In other words if the design is 500mm long in one direction wall thickness should be 3mm (or 2.998mm according to calculation on the site)
does it make a difference if the design is perforated with holes?

Can Shapeways or someone with knowledge of making larger objects please confirm with information on this item.
