Soliddoodle 3D 3rd generation

I've been looking into buying a 3D printer for a while now, and my budget is $900. I've come across the Solidoodle 3rd generation 3D printer, and it looks promising, other than the 8 week wait time after ordering. Does anyone have knowledge about this printer, or other printers I might consider for my budget? Thanks!
