I'm fairly new to 3D printing so was happy to see this work. The lens was printed in 'Transparent Detail' plastic and then sanded and polished in a manner similar to this post. I started with 400 grit sandpaper dry, then 400 wet, 600 wet, 1200 wet, metal polish and finally plastic burnishing cream. There were some pits on the surface that couldn't be readily sanded out but still, it's a working lens!

Woah,
our FUD Acrylic actually has greater transparency, I would love to see what could be created with that.
