I may be interested in having somebody set me up with the 3-d design of a certain type of sword hilt that I could get printed in plastic to have as a model as well as potentially in metal for 'production' runs.
You can see the details of the construction here including dimensions: The actual attachment point to the sword may have to be modified for this to work.. but maybe not. I don't know what the limitations are to this technology.
Please let me know if anybody is interested....
