  1. Hi guys!

Ok....I was wondering what programs to use for a Mac OSX System for the 3D rendering and what format do we save the images in so that they can be worked on? This is all new for me and it's going to take me a little time to learn a new program. I have Photoshop and was wondering if the 3d programing can work with graphics created in photoshop??? Just would need to know the type of format to save it in???? Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!!

3D printing is completely different to 2D images created in Photoshop. Firstly there is no need to render your models. The models you create must have a thickness to them. Here are some links that will help.

There are a number of free apps available for a Mac. It all depends on what you want to create.

    There are plenty more....
Once you have created a model these programs are a must, to check and repair your models.
