I am interested in making jewellery. If I had some models printed in steel, could I then have it plated in gold or silver from any standard plating service??
YES, Electroless Gold and Nickel plating take to this composite like a duck to water. I suppose Silver would too. -G
Great :-] Any suggestions on ways to smooth the surface finish? – as I understand the tolerance is 0.1mm – which might give an undesirable orange peel effect ?? This is still in the context of having the item plated. So any method to better prepare the surface would not affect the final plating process. Thx
