Material that can be used for direct cast

  1. I am trying to find out if there is a material option in 3d printing that can then be direct cast. We are making our models with Shapeways and then having molds made of them. However the silicone molds our caster uses adhere to the material the models are made of and are then unusable. It would be nice if we could skip the step of the first mold and have a printed model that could be directly cast (burn out in the investment) into metal

    Any advice is appreciated!!!

I printed an item in White Detail, and had a jeweler cast it for me.. turned out great!
