I read about painting white strong and flexible models but can't find the post. any advice for this?

Tutorial is here (under the "Create" tab on the shapeways pages), also look in the "Post Production Techniques" section of the forum, where it is a recurring topic. You can even copper leaf it, if painting seems too mundane - look for the "Dog Bust" thread in the "It arrived" forum a few months back.
