These turned out so good I have to post a photo before finishing and paint are done. It's mounted on Peco N Streamline Code 80 flex track (the rail measures 0.080" tall) - time to switch to hand-laid code 40!
I have a little trouble guessing the scale (not an inch person , but it looks pretty small indeed! Do share a pic after painting! Bart
Crikey! You call that very small? T gauge (1:450) is very small: https://www.shapeways.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=11665& amp;start=0& Download the picture attached to the fifth message and be amazed.
Lol, yeah 1:450 is really small: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/spoorobjecten?section=Modeltr ains+-+1%3A450&s=0 Got some pictures at home from people that even painted them
Dude!! That stuff makes my eyes water. Those would be good candidates for custom pad printing. I don't think it's too expensive any more, especially for something hard to accurately paint as 1:450.
Here's a pic with a penny for scale. They can be purchased here: https://www.shapeways.com/model/825438/buda-6-bolt-wheel-stop -n-scale-32pk.html
Here are instructions on how to cut the wheel stops from the 32-piece sprue. A precision sprue cutter like the Intermountain BB-1015 or Micro-Mark #82393 is the best tool to cut the parts from the support framework. http://www.micromark.com/tweezer-sprue-cutter-despruing-twee zer,8012.html
