I am just now seeing this "@" symbol at the top of the page. Is there any way to opt out of this? I would rather any of my likes or anything not be broadcast to people.
?

Hi bvr,
stop4stuff is right - the '@' button only shows where other people @mentioned you in a model comment. It doesn't disclose any personal information to others.

Sorry, I didn't look at what I was clicking. I should've said "the feed". That's what I'm seeing everyone else's business on. Is that controllable? That's what I'm not very comfortable with. Or is it something each person posts to?

If you don't wish to disclose your favorites on the Feed, you can set them to 'private' - check the box at the top of the 'My Favorites' page:

That just hides the favorites listing from public view, but added items still show up with the username on the feed.
(Probably a bug - I assume these entries could/should be filtered to "somebody added..." just as with purchases.)
